As the social media battle ground heats up, TikTok has added an option of adding text only posts into their application. This new feature looks similar to what Instagram has already done.
The new method will give users “another way to express themselves” said the platform in a statement.
Additionally, there will be an option of adding videos and photos to the text content created to help keep the content “dynamic and interactive”.
The competition between the big social media companies heated up when Instagram owner Meta launched the text-basted app Threads to compete with Elon Musk’s X (former Twitter). In a few weeks Meta’s Threads app received over 100 million sign ups.
